PTM BIO makes its debut at the KSBMB Conference in South Korea – AI-driven proteomics solutions shaping the future of life sciences

[HANGZHOU, China, 30 May 2026 ]

From 27 to 29 May 2026, the KSBMB International Academic Conference, focusing on “AI and Big Data Transforming the Life Sciences”, was held in Busan, South Korea.

As a global leader in proteomics and post-translational modification, JIngjie PTM Biolab (Hangzhou) Co. Inc. made a joint appearance with its South Korean partner, Scitech Korea. The company showcased cutting-edge proteomics solutions based on post-translational modification (PTM) technology to nearly 3,000 global scholars, providing comprehensive support for research in the life sciences and precision medicine.
Building on the Original PTM, Strengthening the Technological Foundation.

PTM BIO offers a full-service analysis covering more than 25 types of post-translational modifications and is a pioneer in this field. The team of company scientists was the first to discover and report a number of acylation modifications, including lactylation and crotonylation. The proteomics-driven Hi-Plex CUT&Tag technology, which we have exclusively introduced and developed, also provides a unique tool for research into epigenetic regulation. Building on its extensive experience, the company has become a participating organisation in China’s major ‘Precision Medicine’ initiative and the ‘Science and Technology Innovation 2030’ project, and is recognised at national level as a core provider of technical support organisation.

Empowered by AI Bioinformatics, Unlocking Insights from Massive Data.

In response to the challenge of using AI to analyse vast amounts of biological data, PTM BIO has developed an integrated platform covering everything from omics services to AI-driven bioinformatics analysis. The company’s specialist bioinformatics and AI analysis capabilities not only handle standardised workflows but also excel at developing bespoke, in-depth analysis solutions for complex issues such as tumour immunology and neuroscience, transforming data into mechanistic insights. This core capability of ‘proteomics combined with AI-driven bioinformatics analysis’ has become a vital assistance for researchers worldwide. Up to the present, PTM BIO has helped scientists publish over 4,600 high-impact papers, including 37 published in leading journals such as Nature, Cell and Science.

Focusing on the Frontiers, Shaping the Future of Precision Medicine Together.

During the conference, members of the PTM BIO Asia-Pacific team engaged in intensive discussions with researchers from around the world on proteomics and PTM research in cutting-edge fields such as tumour immunology, metabolic diseases and neuroscience. The attending experts expressed great interest in the comprehensive capabilities of PTM BIO in the identification of complex modifications, quantitative accuracy and in-depth bioinformatics analysis.

“AI is pushing the limits of life sciences research, and precise, in-depth omics data and its intelligent interpretation form the cornerstone of this exploration.” The Asia-Pacific Sales Director at PTM BIO stated, “We are delighted to use the KSBMB platform to share our successful experiences in post-translational modification and end-to-end proteomics solutions with our peers in the Asia-Pacific region. We would like to thank our Korean partner, Scitech Korea, for their support, and we look forward to collaborating with more researchers to drive the intelligent transition from ‘molecules’ to ‘big data’.”
